Bio
Multi-talented musician, Jessica Zuch combines the versatility, passion and sturdiness required to master her craft. The accomplished pianist and vocalist lift her audiences spirits whether she is performing solo or in a band. She appears on stages around the world, including in North America (particularly in Las Vegas, the entertainment capital), Europe (she recently completed a tour through Holland, France and Germany) and Asia. As a composer and arranger, she loves bringing people out of their everyday world. In her roles of leader, entrepreneur and teacher, she helps clients solve creative problems.
A solid education underpins this artists talent and experience: a diploma in Jazz and a Bachelor of Music respectively in Toronto and Vancouver, Canada, followed by a Masters degree in Jazz arranging and composition from the University of Nevada Las Vegas, in Nevada USA. These strong foundations allow her skillset to span a variety of music styles ranging from Jazz, Broadway and Classical to R&B and Pop.
Yet for Jessica, talent is only the beginning and
only hard work can keep nurturing it further.
The artistic richness of her work stems from multicultural inspirations: she loves to bring the rainbow of these influences into her artistic and commercial compositions. This has not failed to be recognized, as a number of her pieces have been selected and featured in various College Music Society conferences and presentations. In addition, the Las Vegas Jazz Society (LVJS) name her as one to watch. Frank Leone, the President of Musicians Union of Las Vegas and President of LVJS, reveals "There could be no doubt that this is an artist to keep an eye on. Her skills and beauty fulfill todays criteria for the record industry. The LVJS is proud to have given her this opportunity and has great expectations for her career."
An important part of Jessica’s ambition is to enrich the lives of new generations by adding culture and an appreciation for music. She loves expanding her students ears, developing their fingers and opening up their creative side. She is known for her joyful and fun teaching approach. Jessica has also inspired many students at Capilano University in Vancouver, Canada, teaching them to pursue music in all capacities.
Jessica is available as a keyboardist, solo act, arranger and composer for a variety of musical needs. Her eclecticism offers a wide range of choices from commercial music, jazz standards to pop and world music. Jessica is known for her clever arrangements and rich harmonies while also having fun! In some instances you can even find her delivering quirky compositions on the accordion and ukulele!
